What is Gravel?
The wheel that's causing a frenzy.
Gunnar Fehlau // Pressedienst-Fahrrad
"Gravel - one word, a thousand possibilities. Which makes clarifying the term as important as it is difficult. What is clear, is that the trend needs to be understood in order to be shaped."
Gunnar is dedicated to a bike with racing handlebars and wide tires, which does not fit into any category and is nevertheless - or therefore - a bestseller.
- He searches for clues and shows the potential in the "gravel phenomenon" for brands, regions and tourism. One thing is clear: It's not so much about technology, but more about lifestyle, attitude, aspirations and feelings.
- Oh yes, and the renown expert (initiator of the Candy B. Graveller, the border stone Trophy and the Bikepacking Barcamps) will also touch on topic "Bike Packing".
- Small warning: There are plenty of pitfalls. So despite all the hype, beware!
